OHMYGODITSFINALYDONE!!!!! i'm so proud, the picture i took of it (cuz it was way to big to scan) doesn't do it much justice because i had a lot of trouble getting a shot where shadows didn't play an issue. anyway, i'm so happy with it. i started this back in may right before school ended and now i have to send off a picture to my art teacher. the funny thing is, i never wanted to do this project in the first place. two of my favorite novels: alice in wonderland and a clockwork orange. you can derive so much meaning out of both of them. one of my lovely friends said "a clockwork orange is all about sex" and i nearly punched her in the trachea. IT"S NOT ALL ABOUT SEX, DAMMIT!! in a way this is my nonviolent response. yes sexuality plays a part, but there is so much more. in fact, sex (in the novel AND movie) is only portrayed as the fullfilment of endless, violent desires. and i could go on and on analyzing the hell out of this and telling you all the symbolic importance of things and how much more important they are than sex but i'm waaaay to lazy to do that sort of thing. besides, the more i write, the stupider i feel. haha. so i'm done
Good work on this one! I like pictures like this when youre not just trying to capture some real view of some place. Rather go with feeling and creating cool pic like this one. It feels mirrored but it is not. Many details to look for.
Wowwww, that's great. So much detail! I can imagine it took awhile.
I bought A Clockwork Orange awhile back with the initial thought of reading it but when I read the first few paragraphs... ._. it didn't make sense to me at all and I eventually got bored and never went back to it. I really want to finish it but I just couldn't get into the beginning. (literally, like the first few pages.)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
